A rich, brilliant and contrasting program with the famous trio for violin, trumpet & piano (1992) by american composer and Juilliard school professor, Eric Ewazen, combined with its inspiration, the trio op. 40 by Johannes Brahms (orig. for natural horn). The program is rounded with inspiring music by three Brahms admirers: Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel and Georges Enesco.
